Punjab Governor Chaudhry Mohammad Sarwar has said that the agenda of the opposition’s planned protests is unclear and the government will complete its constitutional term, although inflation is a challenge.
He made the remarks while addressing the inauguration ceremony of a solar project by University of Engineering and Technology, Lahore and speaking to the media afterwards.
He said there should be no restrictions on opposition’s rallies because protest is their democratic right. Answering questions of the journalists, the governor said that the first step that PTI had taken after coming to power was to make the country economically strong.
