CM further directed the cabinet committee to submit recommendations

The provincial chief executive has directed a special cabinet committee to expedite the process of reforms in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa Public Service Commission.

This was directed by K-P Chief Minister Mahmood Khan on Sunday as he presided over a meeting of the provincial cabinet committee constituted to introduce structural reforms in the K-P Public Service Commission.

The meeting decided to evolve a mechanism to minimise the time involved in recruiting people and enhance the working capacity of the commission.

The CM further directed the cabinet committee to submit recommendations in this regard within a month.

The meeting also decided to include the special assistant to the chief minister on higher education, finance and establishment secretaries as members of the committee.

The CM directed all departments to ensure timely submission of flawless requisitions to the public service commission for hiring.

CM Mahmood said that the K-P Public Service Commission will be strengthened on modern lines to ensure transparency and efficiency in its induction process.
