"My wardrobe really consists of a few too many white ensembles and basic clothing items," Mahira Khan once shared while probing through her closet for a video. More than often, you would find the Raees star in a laid back look - that mostly comprises of a basic kurta, a low-neck bun and bare face.
It's not every day you see Mahira dolled up, her face full of makeup and dressed in heavy outfits. Clad in a few heavily embellished dresses and stunning jewels, the Humsafar star looked nothing short of a royal as the pictures of the aforementioned shoot went viral on social media.
We decode her looks from the latest photo shoot and bring you the best ones!
1. The headgear does it!
Mahira looked like a vision in a mint green bridal embellished with pearl, zari and dabka work. The outfit looks even more regal with a combination of net and organza along with a complementing velvet pouch.
What really does the trick are the jewels complementing the dress. The headgear and choker really did wonders here!
2. Mix and match
This maroon and green bridal that consists of a two-tiered velvet lehnga embroidered and hand embellished with floral details.
An Indian sleeved choli paired with an organza and cotton Net dupatta form the look of this outfit. Mahira's look was paired with soft makeup and she brought back the low-neck bun.
3. Keeping it simple (ish)
We kept wondering if this was Mahira's favourite look from the lot! Donning a beautiful white lehenga with peplum shirt and dupatta, the Superstar actor looked radiant.
She completed her look with a bun and maatha patti, paired with traditional jhumkas.
4. Pastels season
The softer hues aren't going anywhere, it seems! Mahira's last look could easily be our personal favourite. The peach and pink ensemble coupled with a maang teeka, jhumkay and gajray looked perfect for a Mehendi bride!
Unlike her previous looks, Mahira kept hair unruly and pinned halfway.
