TTS teachers demand pay raise

ISLAMABAD:

A representative body of teachers employed under the Tenure Track System (TTS) demanded implementation of the recommendation given to the Higher Education Commission (HEC) for resolving their issues. “None of 32 recommendations given to the HEC by a committee comprising TTS teachers have been implemented so far,” said All Pakistan Tenure Track Faculty Association (APTTFA) President Dr Khurram Shehzad. Salaries of basic pay scale (BPS) teachers were increased however TTS teachers were working on the same pays for years.
