Man killed in road accident
A man was killed in a road accident in Kasur on Tuesday. Police said Ali Raza, a resident of Saraye Mughal, was crossing Tibba Road when a speeding car hit him. As a result of the incident, he was killed on the spot. However, the accused driver managed to escape from the scene. Police reached the spot and shifted the body to hospital. Further investigation was underway. Meanwhile, some passersby spotted a body near Baqapur and informed police. The team reached the spot and took the body of a 55-year-old, yet to be identified person into custody and shifted it to hospital.
