The Sindh government has decided to offer a 5 per cent concession for property tax in the province’s disaster-stricken districts. The Sindh Excise and Taxation Department issued a notification on Monday, stating that a rebate of 5 per cent would be offered for property tax due to the losses caused by the torrential monsoon rainfalls and the coronavirus pandemic. It stated that the concession could be availed till November and would be applicable in all districts that had been declared disaster-stricken.
