Suspicious oil tanker sped away when it was signaled to stop

Pakistan Customs successfully foiled a smuggling attempt and recovered heroin worth Rs1.06 billion. According to customs officials, the heroine was smuggled under the guise of diesel. They added that 176kg of heroine powder, wrapped in export packaging was hidden in oil tanker cavities. The authorities had received a tip off from a credible secret network about heroine being smuggled to Karachi from Balochistan. Upon receiving the informarion, customs officials mobilized a team and deployed additional personnel to tighten surveillance of buses and freight vehicles. The suspicious oil tanker sped away when it was signaled to stop and smugglers began firing. However, the smugglers managed to flee by taking advantage of the night but left the oil tanker behind.
