Reckless driving claims two lives

Two people were killed in separate road accidents in the city. A motorcyclist was hit by a car near the Light House traffic signal on MA Jinnah Road on Friday morning. The deceased, identified as Ghulam Fareed, 53, was shifted to Dr Ruth Pfau Civil Hospital. The police handed over the body to the family after completion of medico-legal formalities. Separately, a car hit a pedestrian at Nazimabad Flyover, killing him. The deceased, stated to be in his twenties was, shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital. His identity could not be ascertained till the filing of this report.
