Dengue surveillance termed bogus

The monitoring body said it suspects of a dengue breakout in current or next month due to false reporting

The Anti-Dengue Monitoring Forum has identified more than 150 bogus activities claimed to be performed by the surveillance teams along with 667 cases of zero activity.

The officials of the forum disclosed in a report that 157 actions by surveillance teams were not carried out and entered only in papers.

The monitoring body said it suspects of a dengue breakout in current or next month due to false reporting.
