Actor Hamza Ali Abbasi in Express Entertainment's new online game show Kasoti Online clarified that he has not left acting entirely. In fact, the Pyarey Afzal star revealed that he is currently involved in two projects as an actor.
During the introductory segment of the show, the host Ahmed Ali Butt asked Hamza if the 'controversy' of him leaving acting was true or not. To this Hamza replied," No, not at all. I haven't left acting. In fact, I am currently working on two projects. Hopefully, the two will see the light soon. So no I haven't quit acting."
Adding on, Hamza noted that he had just taken a long break that was being misconstrued as him leaving showbiz altogether.
Last year, Hamza shocked fans after he revealed in a long YouTube video that he was taking an indefinite hiatus from the entertainment industry. "My perspective of life has been changed since I realised that I have to meet my God. With this realisation, what I decided to do is that I now wish to talk to people. I wish to spread the message," he had said in the video.
The Parwaaz e Junoon star shared that from here on, his productions will focus on showing Pakistan, its culture, and Islam in the right light. Hamza also said that he will be quite active on YouTube, where he will keep on making videos on topics he thinks should be addressed.
Since then, Hamza has released several videos on his YouTube channel that are centered around religion.
