Valuables gutted in house fire

LAHORE:

Valuables worth thousands of rupees were gutted in an incident of fire in a house near Nadeem Chowk Security Barrier in the city on Saturday. Rescue 1122 officials said that the incident started as a minor fire. However, in a shot span of time, it turned into a major fire after which the house was filled with thick smoke. Nearby people attempted to control the fire. On failure, they called Rescue 1122 teams. Firefighters of the emergency service reached the spot on information and extinguished fire. No loss of life or injury was reported in the incident.
