A deadly road accident claimed lives of six people when a car banged into a truck in Qilla Saifullah district of Balochistan on late Friday night.
The car was on its way to Islamabad via Zhob Garang area when it collided with a truck coming from the opposite side of the road. A crane was sought to remove parts of the damaged car from the truck. After the deadly crash, the truck driver fled from the spot while Levies shifted dead bodies to the district headquarters hospital.
A large number of people reached the hospital where deceased were shifted.
Levies official maintained an investigation was underway into the incident, saying that no arrest was made after the accident so far.
Regular traffic accidents due to reckless driving, damaged infrastructure of roads and over-speeding have claimed scores of lives on various highways of Balochistan linking Quetta to Karachi, Islamabad, Jacobabad and Chaman.
