Man suspected of killing sister caught in Swabi

K-P Police also arrests two proclaimed offenders

A man, accused of killing a man while injuring his sister, was apprehended by the Swabi police, a police spokesperson said on Wednesday.

Officials said that police across the district have been directed by District Police Officer (DPO) Imran Shahid to enhance efforts to tighten the noose around criminal elements.

In this regard, a police team from the Swabi police station, led by SHO SI Raz Muhammad, raided the suspected hideout of a suspected murderer Izaz in the Shehzad Kili area and arrested him.

Izaz is accused of killing Ashfaq and injuring his sister. who, early this year, had wounded his sister and killed one Ashfaq over a women-related-issue. The accused Izaz was arrested and will now face the law.

Similarly, a team from the Topi police, led by SHO Jawad khan, arrested two proclaimed offenders including Batakarra resident Arshad Mehran and village Kota resident Dilawar Jamshid. The proclaimed offenders were wanted by the Topi police in an attempted murder case.
