A day after opposition parties targeted the PTI government and state institutions, Senator Faisal Javed Khan questioned why India was praising the speech of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz supremo and former prime minister Nawaz Sharif.
"Just think why India liked Nawaz Sharif's speech? Why do they have a problem with the achievements of Pakistan? We are proud of our armed forces and they support Prime Minister Imran Khan on every single policy… they back PM Imran in countering all big challenges," he wrote in a series of tweets on Monday.
He said whether it is foreign policy, Kashmir issue, Pulwama attack, Kartarpur Corridor, coronavirus pandemic, floods, Karachi Transformation Plan or other national issues, Imran Khan and the Army are on the same page. "This is because Imran Khan's entire life is in Pakistan, he's not corrupt and has no business interests," he added.

Senator Faisal Javed said that India wanted to divide Pakistan into three parts. It is only our armed forces that are guarantors of defence of the country. "There is a whole campaign behind those speaking against the state institutions which would fail at all costs," he added.
He said that those who were making hue and cry over poll rigging should tell the nation which forums they have utilised to address their concerns?
"Imran Khan is the only leader who came to power after 22 years of struggle with the mandate of the people. All others came to power first and then formed their parties," he added.

The statement comes a day after Nawaz Sharif’s no-holds-barred onslaught against a “parallel state” in Pakistan while speaking at a multiparty opposition confab in Islamabad via video link.
The PML-N supremo said the opposition’s struggle was not against Imran Khan “but against those who had imposed such an incapable person on the country through a rigged election”.
PM Imran, earlier today, took a jibe at his convicted predecessor, saying that “once again a fugitive sitting in London is maligning the state institutions”.
His cabinet members, in a news conference, also lashed out at opposition leaders particularly the deposed prime minister, accusing him of making state institutions controversial.
Sharif, who has been handed a seven-year jail term on charges of financial corruption, was allowed by the government and court to travel to London for treatment of some undiagnosed ailment late last year. But now he has refused to return and a court has declared him a proclaimed offender.
