The police claimed to have arrested six suspects, confiscating weapons and stolen motorcycles from their possession in separate operations on Saturday night. The Crime Investigation Agency’s Anti-Vehicle Lifting Cell (AVLC), Keamari and SITE division police arrested six alleged motorcycle thieves and seized three stolen motorcycles and a pistol from their possession. According to the AVLC, the arrested suspects had past criminal records and they used to sell parts of stolen motorcycles to scrap dealers. They added that the suspects had previously been arrested as well, while the recovered motorcycles were stolen from Korangi, Shah Faisal Colony and Pak Colony.
