As many as 237 new coronavirus cases emerged in Sindh on Friday, while four more patients lost their lives in the previous 24 hours. According to the statement issued by the Chief Minister’s House on the day, the provincial virus tally subsequently hit 133,362 infections, while the death toll rose to 2,459. The new cases were detected after 14,352 samples were tested, while a total of 1,200,357 tests have been conducted to date, yielding a detection rate of 11 per cent. Furthermore, 154 more patients recovered overnight, bringing the number of recoveries to 128,145 in Sindh. Meanwhile, 2,758 patients are currently under treatment, with 171 of them said to be in critical condition.
