Man found dead in Jaliyana village

LAHORE:

A 35-year-old man was found dead in Jaliyana village on Thursday. A passer-by spotted the body lying in fields near Bahria Town and informed the area police. A police team reached the spot on information and moved the body to the morgue for autopsy. They also collected forensic evidence from the crime scene and recorded statements of witnesses. The victim was identified as Waheed Anwar, a resident of Jaliyana village. Initial investigation suggests the victim had been strangled to death. Police are investigating the matter further.
