Are Zayn, Gigi ready to welcome their baby this week? Fans think so

Despite Gigi's dad penning a poem for his grandchild, he insists the baby isn't here yet

Gigi Hadid's dad Mohamed Hadid has sent fans reeling in excitement after he posted a special poem for his grandchild - Gigi and singer Zayn Malik's baby.

The 71-year-old took to Instagram on Wednesday to share a heartfelt poem he's penned for his grandchild, titled 'Grandpa's Heart'. "Hello little grandchild, it is me, my heart as happy as can be. I wish for you the sun and moon, I wish for you a happy time. Know that grandpa’s always here, I’ll do anything, anything for you, my dear," he wrote.

He continued, "When I heard you were on the way, I smiled and wiped a tear away. I cried the tear because I knew my heart would always belong to you."

Alongside the poem, Hadid also penned a sweet message for Gigi, writing, "In the name of God The merciful I want to say l love you and so proud of you @gigihadid."

Over the week, fans have been speculating that perhaps Gigi might be ready to pop, and thanks to her family's hints, there's more fuel to the speculations.

Before Father Hadid shared the handwritten poem, Gigi's younger sister and fellow supermodel, Bella Hadid, also shared an adorable photo of herself with Gigi. The throwback photo from June features Gigi flaunting her bump, cradling it in her arms.

"Two buns in the oven except mine is from my burger and Gigi's is from @zayn. I love you both so freaking much — can't stop crying," she captioned the photo, also calling out the father of Gigi's baby, Zayn.

However, it's been confirmed by both Bella and their father that the baby is not here yet. When a fan asked Bella if the baby was here yet, she replied, "No, she's not." Hadid also reaffirmed the same in his own comment section on Instagram.

While Gigi and Zayn have kept their pregnancy relatively under wraps, her due date was hinted at being in September by her mom Yolanda Hadid earlier. Naturally, fans have been waiting with bated breath for the arrival of their baby, who's also been confirmed to be a baby girl.
