QUETTA:

The entire city of Quetta was locked down during the visit of Prime Minister Imran Khan. According to details, the provincial capital was cordoned off on Airport Road, Nawan Killi Mor, Sariab Road, Zarghoon Road, GPO chowk, Circular Road, Pishin Stop, Benazir Bhutto Flyover and adjoining areas. It was completely closed due to which the residents of the provincial capital waited on the streets for hours. Due to the prolonged wait, police personnel, who were stationed at different sites, began misbehaving with the citizens and women. People suffered immensely as ambulances were also stopped during the VIP movement and people injured in traffic accidents on Airport Road continued to suffer but no one took notice.
