Female SHO calls out cops for harassment

Inspector Ghazala has also approached FIA against officials of her department with harassment allegations

A female police official accused cops in her department of harassment on Friday. SHO Inspector Ghazala, who has served in the department for several years and was also posted at Sahil and Gulshan-e-Iqbal Police Stations, uploaded a video statement on social media stating that she has worked with some of the best cops but some corrupt elements and black sheep in the department cannot stand a woman deputed at a high and reputable post.

Inspector Ghazala has also approached the Federal Investigation Agency against officials of her department with harassment allegations.

The SHO has alleged that these elements have been harassing her in various ways and have threatened her resign from her post all they will resort to means on social media such that she is forced to resign. Ghazala added that she has filed a complaint against the harassers and that the FIA's cybercrime wing has initiated legal action accordingly.

This is the battle of every woman who steps out her house to earn a livelihood with dignity, said the SHO. She requested solidarity and support from women everywhere as she attempts to expose the alleged harassers and corrupt elements within the police department.
