A throwback video of Turkish actress Esra Bilgic is one again doing the rounds on social media showing the hard work she put in to her role as Halime Hatun for her hit in popular television series "Dirilis:Ertugrul". The actress went through intense gym workouts and rehearsals to fit into the role of a Seljuk warrior who got married to Ertugrul.
There are plenty of behind-the-scene videos available on the internet that show the actors prepped hard for the historical series. One such video shows Esra Bilgic sweating it out in the gym and taking part in sword fights to prepare herself for her role as Halime Hatun.

The actress has not only become a household name in Pakistan but also featured in several television commercials. Her co-star Engin Altan Duzyatan also confirmed that he would visit Pakistan.
During his visit, Engin will meet his fans in the capital Islamabad, the commercial capital Karachi, and Lahore. The historic Turkish blockbuster earned heroic status in Pakistan and Indian-administered Jammu and Kashmir after Pakistan Television telecast a version dubbed in Urdu.

Within days of the first telecast, the fan following for the series and its actors surged, especially Engin. Often described as a Turkish Game of Thrones, the series tells the story before the establishment of the Ottoman Empire in 13th century Anatolia. It illustrates the struggle of Ertugrul Gazi, the father of the empire's first leader.
