At least three persons were left injured when a cylinder exploded in a kitchen of a house in Suchiyari Plaza in the wee hours of Saturday. The details revealed that the victims were inside their house busy in their household work in the house situated near Sui Gas Chowk on Lajpat Road when the cylinder detonated with a sudden blast. Resultantly, the house caught fire and three residents sustained injuries. Nearby people called Rescue 1122 teams. Fire extinguishers of the emergency service reached the spot on information, extinguished the fire and shifted the injured to a nearby hospital. The injured have been identified as Hameed 40, Maryam 32 and Khadija, 8.
