Pensioners demand raise

Seek 100% raise for employees who retired 5 years ago

MULTAN:

Pensioners have demanded of the federal and provincial governments to increase the pension of employees so that they could maintain their livings.

In a statement issued on Thursday, pensioners Rana Waliyat Ali, Rao Liaq, Raja Kausar Khan, Sultan Majood and others said the government should raise the pensions of the employees who retired five years ago by 100%. They said that due to financial restraints, many pensioners were facing mental frustration which has resulted in their deaths.
