Kangana Ranaut nominates Bollywood A-listers for drug test

The actor believes that clean results can inspire millions

After claiming that the drug mafia is active in Bollywood, actor Kangana Ranaut has asked for some of the biggest figures in the industry to submit to a blood test, reported Business World. In a recent tweet, Ranaut has nominated Ranveer Singh, Ranbir Kapoor, Ayan Mukerji and Vicky Kaushik to get a drug test so that they can dispel reports of them partaking in illegal substance.

"I request Ranveer Singh, Ranbir Kapoor, Ayan Mukerji, Vicky Kaushik to give their blood samples for drug test, there are rumours that they are cocaine addicts," she said.  Adding on, the Queen star noted that the youth will be inspired in a positive fashion if the results of the aforementioned celebrities come out clean.

"I want them to bust these rumours, these young men can inspire millions if they present clean samples,” she said.

Earlier on, Ranaut had remarked on social media how drug usage was rampant in the Indian film industry. "If Narcotics Control Bureau enters Bullywood, many A-listers will be behind bars,” the Simran actor had shared.

The statement came after a recent turn in Sushant Singh Rajput's death case, where his girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty's  WhatsApp chats revealed a possible drug angle. Post the statement, Ranaut has also said she is "more than willing to help the Narcotics Bureau but I need protection from the central government."
