Three killed in Kasur

KASUR:

Three persons including a minor girl were killed in separate incidents in Kasur on Monday. Saddar police officials said that Amaanullah, 25, a transgender person and resident of Pakpattan, was a worker in a factory near Dina Nath, Phoolnagar. They were present in their quarter when an unidentified man barged in and hit them on their head with an iron rod, killing them on the spot. Reportedly, the victim’s body was later hanged by the accused. A police team reached the spot, took the body into custody and shifted it to a hospital. Police also registered case and started investigation. In another incident, Shagufta bibi, 35, wife of Ibrahim, and her son Zeeshan, 12, sustained serious injuries when a roof of their dilapidated house caved in. A Rescue 1122 team recovered the injured and shifted them to DHQ hospital where Shagufta breathed her last. Separately, Phoolnagar police recovered the body of an unidentified girl from a bag and shifted the body to hospital for autopsy.
