A special anti-terrorism court (ATC) issued on Wednesday an amended indictment against Lyari gangster Uzair Baloch and others accused in five cases, including the Arshad Pappu murder case.
An ATC was hearing the cases at Karachi Central Jail, where the court issued an amended indictment to Baloch, former member of the national assembly Shahjahan Baloch and others.
The court stated while issuing the indictment that the accused faced multiple murder charges. It inquired from Baloch and the co-accused if they had confessed to committing the murders. The accused denied having made any such confessions.
The court issued notices to the investigation officer (IO) and witnesses, directing the IO to present the witnesses at the next hearing on September 14.
