Balochistan reports 33 new Covid cases

The total deaths in the largest province of Pakistan due to Covid-19 are now 141

QUETTA:

Balochistan reported 33 new coronavirus cases on Monday, taking the total provincial tally to 12,560 cases with a recovery rate of 91 per cent.

According to the daily report of the Health Directorate of Balochistan, 99 per cent of the total cases in Balochistan are locally transmitted. The active cases in the province currently stand at 959.

The total deaths in the largest province of Pakistan due to Covid-19 are now 141. It is pertinent to note that additional symptomatic deaths have been reported as well.

Out of the 12,560 cases, 12,402 are locally transmitted cases in Balochistan, which include 9,185 from Quetta, 376 from Kech, 350 from Khuzdar, 330 from Jaffarabad, 273 from Lasbela, 244 from Mastung, 220 from Chagai and 155 from Pishin.

Presently,11,460 positive patients have recovered in Balochistan after getting infected by the virus whereas 77 more patients have recovered after testing negative twice.
