The bodies of two men were found from different parts of the city on Monday.
A body was discovered from the bushes near Super Highway and was shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital (ASH) for medico-legal formalities. The police stated that while the identity of the deceased could not immediately be ascertained, the initial investigation suggested that he was shot dead and later dumped at the location. They added that the victim’s body also bore torture marks. After registering the case, the police continued further investigations.
Separately, the body of another man was found from Khamiso Goth in New Karachi. The deceased was shifted to ASH for medico-legal formalities. According to the police, the deceased had died due to a drug overdose, while the actual cause of death will be confirmed after the postmortem report.
