The Majlis-e-Wahdat-e-Muslimeen (MWM) held nationwide protests against Israel on Friday, demanding Palestine’s liberation.
In Karachi, the organisation staged a protest outside Jamia Masjid Noor Imam, with workers holding placards with slogans against Israel, the United States and the Arab League.
Calling the demand for Jerusalem’s liberation a matter of religious pride, protest leaders lambasted Arab rulers for recognising “the usurper state of Israel.”
MWM Karachi leader Allama Mubashir Hassan termed Israel the worst enemy of the Islamic world. “Muslim rulers who consider it their friend are unaware of its deceptions,” he stated. “The deal made by Arab rulers to hold people hostage for short-term gain is foolish and cowardly.”
He added that the dispute between Palestine and Israel was not just about land but a war between truth and falsehood.
