A Florida boy has been arrested after allegedly boasting about his weapons collection and creating a "kill list" targeting two schools.

The Volusia County Sheriff’s Office apprehended 11-year-old Carlo “Kingston” Dorelli following threats he reportedly made to his classmates. Sheriff Mike Chitwood shared details of the case on X, formerly Twitter, revealing that Dorelli had shown a video of his stockpile of airsoft guns, knives, and swords. “He says it was all a joke,” Chitwood noted, referring to the written list of targets found in Dorelli's possession.

Dorelli now faces a felony charge for making a written threat of a mass shooting. A video released by the sheriff’s office shows officers escorting the boy into jail, with his wrists and ankles in handcuffs. His mugshot and images of his weapon collection, including replica assault rifles and samurai swords, were also made public.

The arrest comes after Sheriff Chitwood vowed to publicly "perp-walk" children who make prank threats, in response to a surge of false alarms following the deadly Apalachee High School shooting in Georgia. "Parents, you don't want to raise your kids, I'm going to start raising them," Chitwood declared, emphasizing the need to deter such dangerous behavior.
