50 new rescuers complete training

Rescuers trained on road safety, emergency vehicle driving, motorcycle driving, and community action

The oath-taking ceremony of the second Short Course for 50 Rescue Drivers was held at the Emergency Services Academy on Thursday.

Rescue 1122 Director General Punjab Emergency Service Dr Naseer was the chief guest at the ceremony. He administered oath from 50 rescuers of Gujranwala, Hafizabad, Layyah, and Faisalabad who completed a short course successfully. The senior officers from Rescue Headquarters, Emergency Services Academy, and a large number of rescuers attended the ceremony.

These rescuers have been trained on road safety, emergency vehicle driving, motorcycle driving, and community action for disaster response during a four-week training programme. Speaking on the occasion, Dr Naseer congratulated the rescuers on their successful completion of professional training.
