PESHAWAR:

A four-member committee has been formed to shortlist the candidates for the posts of the controller examination in seven educational boards of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (K-P). The committee would be headed by the Education Department special secretary. The committee, formed on the recommendation of the chief secretary, would short-list over 100 candidates who have qualified for the position of controller examinations. Earlier, the K-P government had formed a committee that deployed chairpersons of five educational boards in the province. However, the additional chief secretary was then transferred and the process for recruitment of controller examinations was halted and the seats are vacant for the past two years.
