Last week, Bollywood’s ace singer Sonu Nigam shared a video of listening to Nescafe Basement’s masterpiece Bol Hu. Sung by the band Soch and rising star Hadia Hashmi, the track was produced by Xulfi IN 2019.

The song left the Deewana singer teary-eyed as he went on to laud Hadia and the band. Sonu could be seen saying, "After so many days, something has touched my heart. what a song, what lyrics, what composition!".

Feeling visibly overwhelmed, the singer couldn't stop praising the work, the lyrics, the sound, and the final product that left him mesmerised. "I did not imagine that to this date, there would be a song that could have the potential to make you feel so many things," he said.

He then wished Hadia and Soch the best. Now, the aspiring singer has taken to Instagram and revealed that she recently got in touch with Sonu via video call.

The post had a few screenshots from the call with a caption, “This post is dedicated to hard work and the reward that follows. If you stay true to your passion, put in all that you got, God always rewards you for your efforts. Every second spent in the right direction, chasing your dreams, always pays back in the end.”

It further read, “We had the pleasure to have a live session with sir Sonu Nigam. And believe me, it was like a dream come true. We are still in awe. It was great talking to you sir, thank you for your precious time. We really enjoyed it!”

Xulfi, on the other hand too, took to Instagram and shared a comment the Kal Ho Naa Ho singer posted on his video.

Sonu apologised to Xulfi for forgetting his name while making the video, “I wasn’t introduced to you at that time. You’ve done a beautiful job, Zulfiqar. You deserve every bit of my tears. God bless you and your team. Good souls come out with good and genuine pieces of art. My prayers for you and your team always,” the Bijuriya crooner went on.

Penning a heartfelt note, the Dhadke Jiya singer thanked Sonu for his kind words. “I live for music, Sonu jee. And your words would always give me the validation that I am working towards something right. Thank you.”

Earlier, Xulfi shared a video for his Bollywood counterpart. The Waqt singer had said, "Another thing I really want to appreciate is the honest reaction from Sonu. We hardly see this sort of response anymore. He made the video while listening to the song. He gave such a beautiful message. The way he felt, how the song touched his heart and his soul, he explained it to all of us. This is how an artist reacts to music. The gratification I felt after Sonu's reaction is unexplainable."
