The Rawalpindi Parks and Horticulture Authority (PHA) has initiated the third phase of the Murree Road beautification project.
In the current phase, the sections of one of the main arteries of the garrison city would undergo beautification from Murir Chowk to Liaquat Bagh Chowk and Education Officer to Committee Chowk.
The authority has placed uniquely designed flower pots in metal stands along the road that would be planted with flowering vines. Signboards representing the local culture and heritage of Punjab have been installed near Rialto Chowk too.
Further, PHA Director General (DG) Shafqat Raza said that the Murree Road is the heart of Rawalpindi which is used by over 700,000 vehicles daily.
