A clash between suspects locked up in Ranipur police station, Khairpur district, left one dead on Sunday. The station’s SHO Ali Akbar Almani and three policemen were suspended after the incident. According to the police, one of the suspects, Saeed Rajpar, fatally injured Mian Bux Shahani, a murder case suspect, with an iron rod. Shahani succumbed to his injuries on the way to the Gambat Institute of Medical Sciences. SSP Ameer Saud Magsi has ordered a probe to investigate the involvement of any of the police official’s in the incident.
