Popular Pakistani YouTuber Raza Samo after weeks of back and forth with the video-sharing platform has finally resolved the issue in regard to his channel, Khujlee Family being demonetised. Samo shared the news in a YouTube video and a  tweet in which he also thanked everyone who offered him support.

"My monetisation is back, thanks to each and every individual who prayed for me, tweeted for me and supported me, it was indeed the most challenging time for me. I can’t express my love for you in this small tweet," he said.

In the YouTube video, Samo went into detail about the incident while also talking abut how each of his fellow content creators and other public figures helped him throughout his journey. Among those he named included, Taimoor Salahuddin aka Mooroo, Irfan Junejo, Waqar Zaka, Asim Azhar, Bekaar FIilms and Hamza Ali Abbasi.

Samo's channel got hacked as a result of a phishing attack wherein he was goaded into clicking a link by a party identifying as a potential sponsor. The YouTuber was subsequently able to recover his channel back. However during the time it was in the hacker's control, illegal livestreams with invalid traffic were run on his channel that rendered it demonetised.

As Samo made his ordeal public over social media, fans, peers along with certain celebrities rallied in his support.  Many directly tagged YouTube's official social media account inorder to bring the issue to their notice.
