A woman, Parveen Akhtar filed a report with the Kahuta police on Thursday that she was at home with her daughter Zahida Parveen on last Sunday when her husband Abid Hussain came and started quarrelling over a domestic issue.
Hussain picked a wooden club and started hitting Zahida mercilessly. Soon she started bleeding from mouth and nose and died on the spot. The matter was hushed up the elders of the both the families and Zahida was silently buried at the ancestral graveyard.
Parveen Akhtar told the police that she could not come to the precinct earlier due to pressure of the males of the family and has finally managed to file a report that her daughter was murdered by her husband..
