QUETTA:

Deputy Commissioner Quetta Major (retd) Aurangzeb Badini has vowed to celebrate Independence Day with full zeal, adding that August 14 needs to be celebrated with modesty due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

“In view of the law and order situation and coronavirus, all picnic points, celebrations and rallies in the city have been completely banned whereas strict security arrangements will be made on all entrances and exit points of the city while section 144 is enforced in Quetta,” Badini said. He shared these views while presiding over a meeting on Independence Day celebrations. “NOC from the DC office is mandatory for celebrations and holding of Independence Day rallies.”
