CTD arrests two ‘target killers’

KARACHI:

The Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) investigation police arrested two suspects allegedly involved in the targeted killing of two police officers in Orangi Town on Thursday, seizing weapons from their possession.

According to CTD officials, the arrested suspects, identified as Mohsinur Rehman and Babaruddin, belonged to Muttahida Qaumi Movement-London. The two men reportedly confessed during the initial interrogation that they had gunned down a traffic policeman in Golimar in 2014 as well as killing another policeman, Shahid, in Paposh Nagar.

Moreover, they were allegedly also involved in the murders of several other individuals.
