KARACHI:

Congratulating the nation on Independence Day, World Kashmir Forum (WKF) chairperson Haji Rafique Pardesi and secretary-general Anwar Mansoor Khan said on Thursday that atrocities in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK) have proved that "the Two-Nation Theory still exists today."

They added that Quaid-e-Azam's opponents were now endorsing his vision.

Pardesi said that due to Prime Minister Imran Khan's policies, the Kashmir issue had once again become the focus of world attention. "The people should now support this voice on the Kashmir issue," he added.

Meanwhile, Khan, who is also the former Attorney General of Pakistan, said that the United Nations had also now realised that the voice of Kashmiris "can no longer be silenced".

He reaffirmed that WKF would prove to be an effective voice for Kashmiris all over the world.
