Provincial Home Minister Mir Ziaullah Langove has said that the rehabilitation work on the border is in full swing. While presiding over an important meeting on the closure of the Pak-Afghan border and the arising situation, he added that, “The government is taking steps in the wider interest of the country and the nation. It is well aware of the damage done to the business community due to the border closure, so we are doing our best to restore normal traffic on the border as soon as possible,” he said. Representatives of several political parties also attended the meeting. Suggestions were received from various representatives and assurance was given to implement them. The home minister added that restoration of trade will play an important role in the development of the economy. The meeting also offered special prayers for the martyrs and people injured in the Chaman bomb blast earlier this week. Langove concluded that the elements involved in terrorism would be brought to justice soon.
