Two persons were shot dead over a land dispute in Mela police limits on Wednesday. Police said Ansar Iqbal, 40, a resident of Sabowala, had row with Mazhar Iqbal over agricultural land. On the day of the incident, Ansar was sitting at a shop with his friend Muhammad Khalid when the accused Mazhar along with his accomplices opened indiscriminate firing on the rivals after a heated argument.
