Police nab two ‘robbers’

The Ferozabad police arrested two suspects for allegedly carrying out robberies in a rickshaw on Monday, while also seizing stolen money, mobile phones and weapons from their possession. According to East SSP Sajid Sadozai, the suspects, identified as Omar and Junaid Ahmed, belonged to a gang that robbed citizens while travelling in a rickshaw. He added that the arrest was made of the basis of a tip-off, while CCTV camera footage had also been used to trace the men. Sadozai stated that Omar and Ahmed had been booked in separate cases while an investigation had been launched against them.
