Tribal Violence: Karo-kari dispute leaves two dead

SUKKUR: A man and a woman were killed and two others injured by a group of armed men over a karo-kari dispute in the Mehboob Solangi village. The men raided the village and forced their way into Sabo Solangi’s house and opened fire, killing Sabo Solangi and his wife Shadul on the spot, while his brother Nabi Bux and his wife Hafeezan were injured. The deceased and the injured were taken to Kashmore hospital, but no case was registered. People from the area claimed that the murders were the result of a karo-kari dispute between the Solangi and Shar clansmen.
