Three booked for selling leopard cubs

Abbottabad Wildlife Department on Saturday arrested three poachers who had killed a leopardess and sold its cub.

The incident had occurred in Sonjan Banwari village located in the Union Council (UC) Gorini where the suspect had killed the female big cat. They had sold its pelt as well its cub in millions of rupees. The wildlife officials said that the suspects including Ashfaq, Qaiser, and Taimur were arrested from the village during a raid.

All three of them have been shifted to Abbottabad for further investigation.
