The government should focus on creating an environment conducive for promoting big business houses in the country that would boost the economy and put Pakistan on the path of sustainable economic growth. This was observed by Multi-Professional Cooperative Housing Society, Islamabad Chief Executive Abdul Majeed while addressing the business community at the Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ICCI). He urged the government to facilitate the private sector to generate more economic activity in the country. Majeed stated that the government should focus on minimising the energy cost and involve the private sector in producing cheap hydro energy. Also speaking on the occasion, ICCI President Muhammad Ahmed Waheed said the government should extend the last date for investing in the construction industry so that maximum investors could take advantage of this package.
