MCC Resources Development Limited (MRDL) officers led by Chairman He Xuping held a meeting with local village leaders and notables in Saindak.
According to a press release, both sides discussed the way to build the community with a shared future in order to continue operation of the Saindak Project and the local economic development that comes along with it.
“A thorough in-depth exchange of views between all the participants helped reached a consensus to join hands and fight against the Covid-19 epidemic. People from all local villages will continue to work together with the company, shoulder the responsibility of preventing the prevailing coronavirus from spreading into the project area,” the press release further added.
It contented that the participants exchanged their ideas about the new publicity work for the project, especially in the aftermath of the untruthful propaganda occurred in social media.
