A man was killed in a firing incident in Saudabad late Monday. According to Saudabad Police Station SHO Shahjahan Lashari, the deceased, identified as Raj Muhammad, 30, sustained a bullet wound near the chest and the bullet penetrated through his body, while the attackers shot thrice at him. Police suspect that he was shot over personal enmity, but area locals claim that he was gunned down for resisting a robbery bid. According to them, Muhammad, who was a resident of Sahib Dad Goth and ran a car workshop and showroom, was carrying Rs400,000 when robbers accosted him and killed him for resisting their attempt to loot him. However, they fled without taking the money or any valuables, the area locals said. Police are further investigating the matter.
