5 suspected gangsters apprehended

Police says they believe these suspects were involved in several cases of theft and street crimes

The New Town police have busted a gang of thieves while five of its members were arrested and stolen goods including cash, motorbikes, mobile phones and weapons were recovered. A police spokesperson on Monday said that the gang was identified as the Pathan Khan gang. The official added that a police team had been constituted under the supervision of New Town police station SHO which busted the gang. The suspected gang members apprehended were identified as Safdar Khan, Pathan Khan, Ahad Ahmed, Dad Dasti and Wali Sher. Police said that they believe these suspects were involved in several cases of theft and street crimes in different areas of the city. The police claimed to have recovered four motorbikes, mobile phones, cash and weapons from their possession.
