100 helmets distributed in Murree

A flag march by NHMP marked vehicles was also conducted

ISLAMABAD:

Highways and Motorway Police N-5 (North) DIG Wisal Fakhar Sultan visited IMDC and attended a free helmet distribution ceremony in Murree where as many as 100 free crash helmets were distributed amongst a large number of residents. While addressing the gathering, Sultan highlighted the importance of safety helmets in case of an accident. Elders present in the ceremony were asked to play their role in inculcating a sense of road safety amongst youngsters. During an informal talk with the media, Sultan briefed on the efforts of NHMP for road safety in detail. The DIG issued directions for the resolution of road traffic management issues. The media also requested for a full-fledged road safety activity by NHMP in Murree for public awareness. Later on, a flag march by NHMP marked vehicles was also conducted.
